Digital Transcription .............................................................................................................................
Digital
Transcription is an extremely specialized form of transcriptioning
that is increasingly making its presence felt, off late. It
refers to the recording of spoken word into digital recording
device. Earlier, the recordings were in the non-digital forms
like VHS and audio cassettes. These storage devices were limited
in their capacity. Later, digital formats were released which
enabled us to stash formerly impossible amounts of data into
a small disc of 4.5” diameter. The transcription industry
was definitely one of the biggest beneficiaries of the digital
revolution. CDs, DVDs, Mini CDs and now we see the advent
of the digital voice recorders that can record a whopping
150 hours of uninterrupted audio content. A digital voice
recorder has become a must for every company that depends
heavily upon transcripts of their board meetings, interviews,
telephonic conversations, market research based focus groups
etc. Considering the user profile and the utility demands,
the companies are also stuffing their voice recorders with
all the latest features along with the mandatory bells and
whistles. Data transfer is enabled through data cables while
some also provide it through Bluetooth. The audio files are
simply transferred to the computer and then sent for transcriptioning
either to an upload link of the offshore transcription company
or through email. The company does the transcription work
through its employees and then sends back the transcripts,
again through email or some upload link of the company.
We have kept track of the growth of this sector, as for every
new sector in transcriptioning. Though we are a general transcription
company that has been in business since many years, we are
still on the lookout for newer heights to conquer and newer
terrains to surmount. Our young team of transcriptionists
,coupled with the able guidance of our seasoned management,
have took it upon themselves to explore this exciting area
of digital transcription. And we have already built up a neat
reputation for ourselves vis-à-vis digital transcription.
Our clients include the new age, tech savvy businesses who
are always on the fast track and ride the digital wave with
ease. Their trust in us emanates from the matching vibes we
have with them with respect to instant service delivery and
taintless quality. At the same time, we have taken upon the
mantle of initiating some of our clients into the field of
digital transcription. To sum it up, we have truly outpaced
the digital transcription revolution by staying one step ahead
of this new wave.
Our company may be living the digital dream, but we have a
legacy of quality transcriptioning to live up to. For us,
some factors are immutable whether we are transcribing digital
files or some magnetic tape from yesteryears. These factors
are:
(1)Quality:
Our company has given topmost priority to quality of transcripts.
We know that as long as we deliver on quality, our brand name
will continue to be our best advertisement. Accuracy of transcription,
requirement fulfillment, additional services like free time
stamping etc. are some of the parameters we have been able
to rank highly on. Our existing clients are our best votaries
and their unflinching support shows that our claims on quality
have indubitable merit.
(2)Cost:
We are an outsourced transcription company. This fact speaks
for itself on all cost benefit concerns. Our prices do not
come from cutting down on quality. We would rather have a
costlier service than sell stuff that resembles peddled perfumes
in quality. Thankfully, we don’t need to jack up our
prices. Neither do we need to corner the extra benefits of
outsourcing as some companies do. The benefits of outsourcing
our services are COMPLETELY passed on to our clients. The
result: some of our clients pay just one-fifth of what they
paid to earlier service providers. Needless to say, these
clients have stuck with us to continue enjoying the virtual
free lunch in terms of transcriptioning services.
(3)Speed:
Speed is another major criterion we strive to maintain our
clean record on. Our services have been categorized as Category
A,B or C depending upon quality of recording. Once we settle
the case of category of recording with our client and the
deadline, we see to it that we finish the transcription before
time. Some clients may want to get the transcriptions done
immediately. For them we have the Rush TAT service. Interested
clients can get their transcriptions done within 12 to 24
hours of submission of recordings, for a nominally higher
price. Others opting for Standard TAT can still get their
transcriptions within 24 to 48 hours, but without the need
to pay any extra amount.
(4)Data Security: Last but
not the least, comes the data security of your recordings.
We attach great value to the security of your data and to
that effect we have taken some strong security measures. These
measures have been derived from the guidelines of HL7
EHR Security and Privacy Issues
and JCAHO. So rest assured that your
data is in safe hands.
To clear all your doubts and questions about our services,
we strongly recommend you to upload a sample audio file for
